The great thing about this period is what we dont see on the screen. Vader learns who Luke Skywalker is at some point between the two movies, to choose but one example. There is a lot of genuine emotional meat on the bone. Star Wars: Princess Leia March will find the release of the third Star Wars Marvel comic: Star Wars: Princess Leia. This comic will be five-issue limited series written by Mark Waid and illustrated by artist Terry Dodson. The http://jefferyompj.wikispaces.com series will take a close look at Leia like has never been done before. What makes her compelling to me is how multifaceted she is, writer Mark Waid said. Heres a very strong, insanely capable woman whos been to hell and back, whos commanded armies and served with senatorsand how old is she, again? Think about how much shes experienced at such a young age and how much shes lost. How does she really cope with losing her entire world once the events around that loss have calmed down somewhat? Does she choose to be the princess of nothingor does she set out to rebuild her heritage and her civilization? You can probably guess the answer. Will you read any of these new Star Wars comics?

From its signature rides to its extravagant parades and fireworks, no other amusement park does it quite like Disney. Its unique offerings go well beyond that, however. Here are some unique things that you never thought you'd find at an amusement park. 1. Central Florida's only AAA Five-Diamond restaurant Believe it or not, you can dine at a AAA Five-Diamond restaurant in the middle of a theme park resort. A huge departure from the usual theme park restaurant, the super upscale Victoria & Albert's offers a rotating menu and a posh chef's table, from which you can observe the inner workings of the kitchen. Of course, all the fanciness comes at a price. A prix fixe dinner starts at $135 per guest. 2. A ride with motion sickness bags Can your stomach handle going to infinity and beyond?

Comic-con Interview: The Makers Of Laika's The Boxtrolls - Comingsoon.net

That still ended up getting thrown out, which happens, too. You have a scene where you go "That's the one, that's always going to be there, that's going into production first" -- gone. Annable: But a lot of the essence of that scene was in the scene you saw. Knight: There's an elephants graveyard of those kinds of stories. Making a film is about making choices that tell your film in the most powerful way. But when you have those breakthroughs they define the tone of the film as a whole. CS: Was there one thing like that for you, that you worked on? Knight: We don't shoot any coverage at all. The storyboards are the blueprint for the film and that's our coverage, but once it makes its way out onto the floor, virtually everything that's shot makes its way into the finished film.

Why Working with Kiefer Sutherland Made Freddie Prinze Jr. Want to Quit Acting - ABC News

So, I just sort of stopped." Prinze, who was at San Diego Comic-Con while promoting his new Disney XD series "Star Wars Rebels," dropped off the map for a while and even ventured into other projects. "I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for Christ's sake and it was a crazier job than working with Kiefer," he said. "But, at least he was cool and tall. I didn't have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do. Just put the guy on an apple box or don't hire me next time. You know I'm 6 feet and he's 5'4." As for Sutherland, who was also at Comic-Con promoting "24: Live Another Day," he's back on "24" and Prinze has made appearances on "Bones," among other hits shows. In an interview with Parade in 2009 , Sutherland had nothing but positive things to say about working with Prinze. "We have some great actors joining us Mykelti Williamson is the head of CTU, Freddie Prinze Jr. is playing my partner," Sutherland said of season 8. "So, its this great balance between something thats new and what fans will find familiar. A request for comment from Sutherland's rep was not immediately returned to ABC.

Historian talks of Disney?s Missouri childhood - News - Neosho Daily News - Neosho, MO - Neosho, MO

I developed an obsession with Disney about 30 years ago. Disney, born on Dec. 5, 1901, in Chicago, moved with his family to Marceline, when he was 4 years old. The slide presentation gave the audience a glimpse of Disneys life in his early years. If you have ever been to Disney Land in California or Disney World in Florida, Main Street USA is the entry way for both of those parks, he said. Main Street is inspired and to a degree is modeled on the Main Street in Marceline, Mo., you can see some similarities today in the architecture. Viets also touched upon Disney and his older brother, Roy. I assumed that Walt was probably a business executive mainly, [that] he sat in an office and made business decisions, and I figured out that he pretty much was not involved in making the movie, Viets said. In fact, I could not have been more wrong about that. Walt was very much a hands on creative influence in the Disney Studio. The Disney Studio is the creation of two people, Walts older brother Roy is often overshadowed by Walts very high profile public image. But Roy was critical and we would have never heard of Walt Disney if it werent for Roy Disney. Because Roy was the business genius, Walt was the creative genius.

Vote Of The Week: Should Theme Parks Make Certain Attractions Available By Reservation Only?

Princess Fairytale Hall at the Magic Kingdom Vote of the Week: Should theme parks make certain attractions available by reservation only? Written by Robert Niles Published: July 25, 2014 at 9:02 AM When you're spending big money for a day at a theme park ? nearly $100 for a single day at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom , for example ? do you really want to spend a third of your day, or more, waiting in line for a single attraction? What if that attraction was the one thing your child most wanted to do on your annual vacation? "Are you SURE you really want to wait to see Anna and Elsa, honey?" Still, we're willing to bet that most people would want to find a way out of waiting in that queue. That's why so many parks have created ride reservation or queue skipping systems. Whether they are free (such as Disney's Fastpass+), an add-on benefit to a hotel reservation (such as Universal Express Unlimited) or a straight upcharge (such as SeaWorld's QuickQueue), these systems allow a way out of those hours-long queues. And by doing that, they offer an extra inducement to entice would-be visitors to book a vacation with the resorts that offer them. Come here and use our system, they say, and you can have it all ? all the attractions you want, without all those long lines. But not everyone uses the line-skipping systems. And with many systems, notably Disney's Fastpass+, one's use of the system is limited, and there might be only a limited number of reservations available for a specific attraction at any given time. That leaves plenty of people outside the system, forced to wait in what is now an even longer standby line, as some of the attraction's hourly capacity has been given over to line-skippers. Two factors determine the length of the wait for a theme park attraction: popularity and capacity. That is, the number of people who want to experience the attraction and the number of people per hour that the attraction can accommodate. Capacity is why it's not accurate to say that one ride is more popular than another simply because it has a longer average wait time. Capacity often explains the differences between attraction wait times, such as why the wait is so often longer for Splash Mountain than Pirates of the Caribbean. Pirates can put through hundreds more people per hour than Splash, especially in Anaheim, accounting for the typically shorter wait for Pirates, even though Pirates usually handles more people per day. So when you see really brutal wait times for theme park attractions, a low hourly capacity usually is to blame. We reported earlier this week that one source has said that the Magic Kingdom's Anna and Elsa meet and greet ? by far the longest standby wait time in the park at up to six hours ? might have an hourly capacity as low as 89 guests per hour. That's an order of magnitude less than for other attractions considered slow loading by Disney's standards. Disney has offered its Fastpass+ reservation system for the Anna and Elsa meet-and-greet, but that's not spared the thousands of other Frozen fans who couldn't get those advance reservations the day-killing wait in the standby queue. In an effort to help those guests continue to get more value from their day in the park, this week Disney started a second reservation system for Anna and Elsa , distributing return time tickets in the morning to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. But this meant that there would no longer be a true walk-up or stand-by queue to meet the Frozen stars. If you want to see Anna and Elsa, you would need a reservation ? either through Fastpass+ or the new return-time system. Show up at the park too late to get a return time? You're out of luck ? no matter how long you'd be willing to wait. So that raises the question: Should there be situations where theme parks make certain attractions availably only by reservation? Parks long have required reservations for hotel rooms and certain table-service restaurants. Indeed, many visitors have booked tables at the parks' character meals as a way to secure a reservation to meet certain characters, long before systems like Fastpass+ made the regular in-park meet-and-greets available by reservation. In an ideal world, theme parks would create higher-capacity attractions, so that all wait times could be kept to a reasonable level. (Your definition of "reasonable," of course, might vary.) But, let's face it, we don't live in an ideal world. And it doesn't make financial sense for parks to build individual attraction capacity to handle all of their Fourth of July and Christmas crowds when attendance levels sit much lower for the other 49 weeks of the year. (It's cheaper for parks to throw on some extra parades and shows to handle those holiday excess crowds, instead.) It's Vote of the Week time. Please select the answer that best matches your opinion on this issue. If Disney or another theme park company made certain attractions available on a reservation-only system, how might that change the way you plan and go on your theme park vacations? Let's talk about that in the comments. Readers' Opinions From O T on July 25, 2014 at 9:27 AM Great question and yes I think that low capacity attractions (be it a ride or meet and greet or whatever) should be reserved for the highest paying Disney customers. By now Disney knows due to the magic band who are their "whales" and they should be universal studios orlando packages treated better then the rest of their guests because they are better people and for Disney they are better of spending money than standing in line. Sure that's sarcasm. I'll tell you Disney is run by idiots. How can you build a high quality ride like 7DMT with this low capacity. Disney knows how many guests are coming and how popular FantasyLand is. You must be a complete idiot to approve a low capacity ride if you don't want to create a problem. The same goes for the princesses. Where Universal expanded Olivanders from 1 to 4 rooms this could even more easily be done by dressing up more girls as the hit princesses of the moment to meet demand. But clearly Disney doesn't care or isn't creative enough. From Craig Walker on July 25, 2014 at 9:38 AM Couple thoughts - ya know, I am a planner, I make lists, itineraries, stuff like that so having to make reservations would probably enhance my experience by not having to wait in as long of lines. And it wouldn't bother me to need to have the structure. But I have family, friends, and see people post on various boards who could never do that. A lot of people want to just go on vacation and not have to plan, just want to go with the flow. That's not me. But for the sake of those people, I do think there should always be an option to wait in line if that's how they flow. Another thought, as the previous commenter suggested, is that there is absolutely no reason Disney couldn't have multiple people in character for those popular meet n greets and have multiple rooms to push more people through. The young kids who are the ones who care about seeing them will never figure that out. The adults will 'get it' and appreciate the shorter lines. But I doubt Disney would ever do that. From Kevin Maw on July 25, 2014 at 9:54 AM Plan A would be for parks to provide a wide enough provision of attractions to meet demand, and 60 minute's standby wait should be tops. Of course plan B is a little more worrying! What if parks just keep raising prices until demand levels out to a reasonable level? Tie that strategy into an 'airline pricing model' and the problem goes away! Nice for the parks but dreadful for guests who can't pay the premium. Robert Downey Jr. Making ?Iron Man 4? Is Down To Disney Making The Right Offer

The Avengers 2 Ultron Captain America Iron Man Official Robert Downey Jr. Making Iron Man 4 Is Down To Disney Making The Right Offer Thats the type of contract that makes Disney and Marvel execs grind their teeth and one theyll never give another actor again. Marvelmanaged to re-sign Robert Downey Jr. for two more appearances inThe Avengers 2 and3 but after Iron Man 3 banked well over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office and became the 5th top grosser of all-time,Iron Man still represents Marvels biggest non-Avengers property. How much are they willing to spend to bring back the actor forIron Man 4? The good news is that Downey Jr. explains that he is having a wonderful time with director Joss Whedon onThe Avengers: Age of Ultron which willhave a major presence at San Diego Comic-Con this week and hes teased more than once that itll be hard to walk away from playing Tony Stark. Its that thing of: why give up the belt when it feels like you can barely get jabbed? Most people are saying that right when they get knocked out. Is there any chance thatIron Man 3 director Shane Black was right when he told us he had a good feeling about RDJ coming back for another? The future is, as usual, uncertain. We wrote a lengthy piece on when Marvel Studios should activate Iron Man 4 and we know from boss Kevin Feiges words thatIron Man and the character of Tony Stark will continue, with or without RDJ, but thats more ofnegotiation tactic at this point. Everyone wants Robert Downey Jr. to keep playing the character and in the comics, Stark continues to play a major role inThe Avengers (including this falls upcoming relaunch) and crossover events.

Paper Ride-reservations Tickets Return To The Magic Kingdom, For The Anna And Elsa Meet-and-greet

Working at Disney WorldPaper ride-reservations tickets return to the Magic Kingdom, for the Anna and Elsa meet-and-greet Written by Robert Niles Published: July 23, 2014 at 11:24 AM Well, it didn't take long for Disney to bring back the equivalent of paper Fastpasses. Six months after ditching the old ride reservation system in favor of Disney's new online Fastpass+ system , paper ride-reservation tickets made their return to the Magic Kingdom today. It's not exactly the old Fastpass system, and it's only for one attraction. Starting today, for what's called a limited time test, Disney distributed paper return-time tickets to guests wanting to wait in a standby queue for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet. nullToday they're handing out return times for Anna and Elsa @waltdisneyworld . pic.twitter.com/Gtt8HO2Nqc ? Brandi (@wdwpres) July 23, 2014 Fastpass+ reservations remain in place for Anna and Elsa, and they remain the most elusive advance reservation "gets" at the resort outside the chef's table at Victoria and Albert's. Visitors who didn't get FP+ ressies for the Frozen sisters have been left to queue in a standby line that approached wait times of six hours. Now, instead of having people wait that long for their chance to meet Anna and Elsa, Disney is now giving those would-be standby visitors return time cards, just like under the old Fastpass system. This means that there is no longer any walk-up "standby" line for Anna and Elsa throughout the day. Either you get a Fastpass+ reservation and wait in the Fastpass+ return queue, or you get a paper return time ticket in the morning and wait in the old return queue at your designated time. Only a limited number of guests who arrive at the location first thing after Princess Fairytale Hall opens in the morning will be admitted to the "standby" return view queue. Everyone after that will have to get a paper return ticket, and those will be available first-come, first-served. Arrive after the paper return tickets are gone for the day? You're out of luck. Temporary Tourist reported that Disney's issuing only nine Fastpass+ return times per hour for Anna and Elsa, which explains why those reservations have proven nearly impossible to get. In addition, the site reported that Disney's issuing only 80 paper return-time tickets per each hour of the day for Anna and Elsa. Combined with the Fastpass+ reservations, that gives Anna and Elsa a capacity of 89 guests per hour. For comparison, attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain can put through about 1,200 guests per hour. The highest capacity ride in the Magic Kingdom, Pirates of the Caribbean, put through as many as 2,100 an hour when I worked there. Fewer than 100 guests per hour makes the notoriously slow-loading Dumbo look like Pirates. Temporary Tourist said that the test will run through Friday. What do you think about Disney making attractions available on a "reservations-only" basis? Is that appropriate for ultra-low capacity attractions such as meet-and-greets? Should Disney consider this for higher capacity rides and shows? Were you at the Magic Kingdom today? Did you try to see Anna and Elsa? Please tell us in the comments about how that went.

I wonder what their salary is like? Also good thing its all equal focus on the stars because i cant find the Hilary Duff in the room (eg. Debby, Laura, Dove, etc.) No Wonder Hilary Duff is coming back to music #2 Jenna @ 10:51 pm on 07/20/2014 @ John disney world package deals : Its just supposed to be a fun thing where Disney stars can get together and sing a beloved Disney movie song. I agree that they made a sad song too happy, but it is what it is they obviously didnt want to make a music video like they did when they did Circle of Life, A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes, etc. If you wanted to be technical, Jordan Fisher is the only one who appears as if he can actually sing. Maybe if they had a few more Raven-Symones it wouldve been better. A Look Back At July 20, 1969: Apollo 11 Moon Landing Watched Live At Disneyland Park

Space Mountain On the afternoon of July 20, 1969, just steps away from an attraction called ?Flight to the Moon,? thousands of Disneyland park guests gathered at the Tomorrowland Stage to watch cheap disney vacations a seminal event in human history unfold on live television. Just last week, while researching another project, I came across this rare color image in our archives that shows the Apollo 11 Moon Landing being watched live at Disneyland park. In the years that followed this momentous event, we were fortunate to welcome two members of the remarkable Apollo 11 crew to Disneyland park. In February 1989, Buzz Aldrin joined us for the Challenger Spirit Salute, an event to honor the Challenger Center for Space Science Education . In July 2005, Neil Armstrong was on hand for the ?re-launch? of Space Mountain . This photo was taken just above the exact spot where all those years earlier, Disneyland guests gathered in almost unimaginable anticipation to watch as he became the first man to step foot on the moon. Lily said the sky was filled with dark clouds when she, her parents and siblings boarded the monorail around 6 p.m. "When we sat there, we heard cheap orlando vacation packages a lot of thunder and saw a few bolts of lightning," the 15-year-old said. (Joe Burbank/Orlando Sentinel/MCT) Disney is fighting allegations that changes to its policy for accommodating people with disabilities at its theme parks are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In a 93-page filing with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California this week, Disney rejected charges brought in a lawsuit earlier this year by the mothers of 16 kids and young adults with developmental disabilities who said they were not properly accommodated by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The families alleged that visits to Disney theme parks became marred by long waits and unhelpful interactions with staff after the company made broad changes last fall to its approach for accommodating park visitors with disabilities. Previously, individuals with special needs were provided passes that often allowed them and their guests to skip to the front of long lines for park attractions. Under the new system, however, those with disabilities can obtain a card which allows them to schedule a return time for rides based on current wait times. The lawsuit cited cases of children with developmental disabilities who experienced meltdowns at Disney parks since the changes took effect allegedly because the kids could not tolerate long waits for rides, among other problems. Changes to disability accommodations at Disneyland and Disney World were prompted by widespread abuse of the old system, Disney officials said. In its point-by-point response this week, Disney told the court that it works individually with guests to meet their needs and said all guests with disabilities are provided the level of accommodation required by law. Disney is now asking the court to dismiss the families suit.

Insider's Update: Time For A Safety Check

CorkyInsider's Update: Time for a safety check Written by Robert Niles Published: July 9, 2014 at 10:39 AM Let's start with some unfortunate news: a teenager from Iceland died Monday after falling from the Inferno roller coaster at Terra Mitica in Spain. The ride, a 2007 Intamin ZacSpin, is closed pending the results of a police investigation, which appear to be focusing on a failure with the seat harness (which could mean a wide variety of things, by the way, including mechanical failure, a design failure, an operation failure to close or check it, or a rider finding a way out of it). If you are curious about tis particular model of roller coaster, Green Lantern: First Flight at Six Flags Magic Mountain is the only ZacSpin model in the United States. Magic Mountain suffered its own coaster accident this week, though with far less severe results. A tree fell onto the track of the park's Ninja , a 1998 Arrow suspended coaster. The blockage forced a train to derail, stranding riders for more than an hour as a fire department rescue crew was called to the scene. Four riders were treated for minor injuries. The ride remains closed while Cal/OSHA investigates, and the state agency is bringing in an arborist to check out the tree. If only the state could order Magic Mountain's trees to move away from the rides to line the more of the pathways throughout the park, instead, where more shade is always welcomed. While we're on the topic of theme park safety, for marine mammals, it's generally safer to live in a theme park than out in the wild. That's the conclusion of an Associated Press report looking at the lifespan of marine mammals at SeaWorld versus at other marine parks and zoos and in the wild. The life expectancy of dolphins and sea otters at SeaWorld exceeded that of those animals in the wild. The life expectancy of beluga whales at SeaWorld exceeded the industry average for belugas in captivity, and was within the range of estimated life expectancy of wild belugas. The survival rate of SeaWorld's orcas was the same as the industry's, though comparing life expectancies with wild orcas is tough, as the estimate is that wild orcas live to be to around 49 and SeaWorld's only had orcas for 48 years. (Its oldest surviving orca, Corky from SeaWorld San Diego, is thought to be 47 years old.) Theme Park Insider editor Robert Niles, with Corky Of course, this won't satisfy the anti-animal-captivity crowd, which would rather see animals die than live in anything other than what those activists consider the "proper" environment. (PETA's policy is to kill stray animals rather than allow them to be adopted, as the group opposes the keeping of animals as pets.) Readers' Opinions From Gabriel Schroll on July 9, 2014 at 9:34 PM Too bad the roller coaster "King Cobra" was at King's Island, as it'd be easy to rename it "King James". Or maybe they could have renamed Son of Beast "Royal Pain". I rarely go to Sea World, but when I do, I really enjoy just watching the sea mammals. They are amazing creatures and I'm glad to hear they have solid life expectancies. One never really knows what goes on at a park like that behind the scenes, but I believe they're treated well. I saw an elephant poop at Animal Kingdom. It was one of the funnies things I've ever seen! From Eric Orlando on July 10, 2014 at 5:22 AM I'm sorry but all I can do is laugh at the Disney story. I really am LOL right now. This is from the end of the article. Conclusion (and myth busted): Time of day does not significantly change the probability of spotting animals. What a non story. Yes that conclusion is correct. Time of day will not affect your probability of seeing an animal. Time of day will however affect your chances of seeing the animals in a much better mood. Early in the morning or later in the evening the animals are much more active. This is either thinly veiled marketing that didn't understand what the talk was about or Disney trying to spin it and change what was being discussed. Given Disney these days, I would say the latter. Scientists Find Experimental Support For Killer Whales' Ability To Learn New Dialects

Scientists Find Experimental Support for Killer Whales' Ability to Learn New Dialects by Staff Comments A team of scientists from Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute (HSWRI) and SeaWorld San Diego has provided the strongest evidence yet that killer whale dialects are learned. The study found that juvenile male killer whales are capable of learning new call types when they undergo a change in social association. Killer whales have vocal repertoires that scientists call ?dialects? because they?re composed of calls unique to particular social groups. Discovering how whales develop these dialects hasn't been possible in the wild because of the inherent challenges in tracking an individual whale?s vocalizations and behavior regularly and for extended periods of time. The HSWRI study took advantage of the unique habitat at SeaWorld that was outfitted with multichannel video and eight hydrophones. This environment allowed the researchers to record and analyze the calls made by individual whales over a five-year period. Learning whether social association affects the calls of killer whales sheds important light on how wild populations of whales interact. Scientists still cheap disney world vacations don?t know if and how populations of killer whales can merge. The data from this study give clues about how that might occur. To find out more about this and other research projects at SeaWorld visit www.seaworld.com/truth.

Harry Potter Returns For World Cup - San Jose Mercury News

The latest 1,500-word story was published in conjunction with the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter's Diagon Alley extension at Universal Orlando. The story is free online through Today.com . It's written from the perspective of Daily Prophet reporter Rita Skeeter and focuses on the reunion of Harry Potter and his friends at the Quidditch World Cup Finals. Here's an excerpt: Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe are shown in a scene from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." ((AP Photo/Warner Bros. Pictures, Jaap Buitendijk ) "About to turn 34, there are a couple of threads of silver in the famous Auror's black hair, but he continues to wear the distinctive round glasses that some might say are better suited to a style-deficient twelve-year-old. The famous lightning scar has company: Potter is sporting a nasty cut over his right cheekbone. Requests for information as to its provenance merely produced the usual response from the Ministry of Magic: 'We do not comment on the top secret work of the Auror department, as we have told you no less than 514 times, Ms. Skeeter.' So what are they hiding? Is the Chosen One embroiled in fresh mysteries that will one day explode upon us all, plunging us into a new age of terror and mayhem? "Or does his injury have a more humble origin, one that Potter is desperate to hide? Has his wife perhaps cursed him?

Ben Savage's ‘World' comes full circle with spinoff | HeraldNet.com - Entertainment

I see so many of the same faces that I spent my entire childhood with. ... Its like youre re-creating your childhood. Not many people get to do that. Girl Meets World largely follows the couples 12-year-old daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and her best friend, Maya, the way its predecessor focused on Cory and best friend, Shawn (Rider Strong). Blanchard describes Riley as Corys kid, who will have countless resemblances to her TV dad. Word traveled fast among pop culture enthusiasts and fans of the original series after Girl Meets World was announced. With the attention came scrutiny. Boy Meets World was one of those shows people grew up with and felt very connected to, Savage said. Theyre very concerned about Girl Meets World, and theyre not shy about letting us know. He thinks fans of the original series wont be disappointed. Its not just retelling the same story. Comments that violate the rules are subject to removal.

Video Games Go Wild For Reboots - Yahoo News

The desire to remake and reboot games comes in part from a major difference between games and movies: old games are harder to play disney world package deals than old movies are to watch. An old VHS or DVD will play on any compatible player, but even a brand new Xbox copy of Phantom Dust wont play on an Xbox One (or any competing console). Anyone who wants to play old games has to acquire the system to go with it. Nintendo and Sony have programs to bring old games to new platforms, but theres no guarantee that a particular favorite will return. And sometimes developers want to see those games come back as much as fans do, so its up to them to do that work. There are gems from the pastsometimes they were loved and sometimes nowhere near enough people got to play themand I think its a great opportunity to go grab these games that had excellent design and give them a chance in the modern era, Ken Lobb, creative director at Microsoft Studios tells me. There are tons of remakes out there. Nintendo has been doing them on its handhelds for more than a decade. The Game Boy Advance saw four different Mario games remade with the Super Mario Advance series. To coincide with the launch of the DS in 2004, the company released Super Mario 64 DS, a remake of the beloved Super Mario 64. Nintendos update not only provided enhanced graphics but added new playable characters and extra challenges.
